I live in Prescott. You could also state that there are supposedly only two other locations in the world where there are rocks as old as the Dells and Watson Lake. Also many early westerns were shot around here, most notably by Tom Mix who had a ranch close by. Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy also had a private airstrip and ranch about twenty miles north of here…..Glad you enjoyed visiting our lovely little town.,

    • Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting my website. You are very fortunate to live in Prescott. It is a favorite place of mine and I have often thought of relocating to the area. And thanks for adding the additional information about the area that only a resident would know. Much appreciated.

  • This is just so wonderful, Renée! Great article, really loved it a lot… and your photographs are just so awesome! The reflections in the still waters are some of the best ones I’ve ever seen!

    • Thanks so much for stopping by, Toad. Your kind words are much appreciated. I was fortunate on the days I visited the Dells that there were great clouds as well as still waters. Which, of course, make for awesome reflections. I can almost see you and your friends hiding out amongst the rocks! Prescott is simply spectacular.

    • Thanks Brad. I love the Prescott area and have often thought of moving there. For a photographer, Arizona is ripe with great opportunities for shooting diverse terrain. Prescott is such a charming town, yet close to a major metropolitan area. Thanks for stopping by and leaving comments.
