Gallery

Below is a sampling of some of my favorite images covering a wide range of subject matter, from landscapes and historic structures, to ruins and abandoned places; more galleries will be added in the near future. To view an image in a larger size, please click on it and a ‘lightbox’ will open, allowing you to navigate through all the images.

You can view additional images within my blog posts, searchable under ‘Categories’ from the drop-down menu on the right sidebar, accessible from the home page or any blog post page. You can also visit my Flickr site to see more of my work, although I am now posting most new images to this website and mainly use Flickr for social photo sharing.

I am passionate about HDR photography (High Dynamic Range Imaging) and Urban Exploration (UrbEx – the investigation of abandoned and derelict structures). A few of these images were taken back during my film photography days, scanned and digitized, then post-processed. Some were taken with black and white infrared film.

A reminder that all photographs are copyrighted and are the sole property of Renée M. Besta (Ren Mar Photography) – no use of any kind is allowed without my explicit permission. The images are embedded with an Internet searchable, invisible digital watermark using Digimarc For Images, in addition to being visibly watermarked. Please refer to the Copyright page for further details.

Thank you for visiting my website and please come back soon.
