Testimonial from a Collector: “Renée, I just wanted to let you know we are all very much enjoying your beautiful works. They are prominently displayed in our common areas amongst other fine art pieces, including Ansel Adams originals and oils from Santa Fe.” – Jim and Eunice S., San Francisco, California

Thank you for your interest in my photographic art. This purchase page is currently being revised and will be updated to include a full size and price list. Meanwhile, here is some basic information on what types of prints I offer. All artwork is produced to order, one at a time. Please contact me for further information.

Images are available as loose pigment prints (not mounted or matted) or, in certain sizes, mounted and matted pigment prints. A wide variety of image sizes are available in the standard 3:2 (1.5:1) photographic aspect ratio (e.g. 8×12; 10×15; 12×18; 14×21; 16×24; 20×30 and so on), excluding any paper borders. These sizes reflect the native aspect ratio of a full frame, DSLR camera sensor, similar to that of traditional 35mm film.

I produce my own pigment prints on a wide variety of archival photographic and fine art papers of the utmost quality, including papers made by Hahnemühle, Canson Infinity, Epson (Legacy or Signature Worthy papers) and Museo (formerly Crane), in no particular order. For requested sizes exceeding the physical limits of my printers, I outsource the printing to a trusted, master fine art printmaker in Northern California.

Each print I produce is signed on the lower right edge of the paper border, just below the image. The exception are those print sizes requiring outsourcing. All prints come with a certificate of authenticity, containing full details of the image, print, paper and printing process.

Pigment prints – as distinguished from standard machine made, wet-process, photo lab chemical prints made with non-archival dyes – are made on a high resolution, wide format, professional inkjet printer using state-of-the-art, archival pigment inks with a wide color gamut and rich, deep blacks that make the prints really pop. Sometimes a pigment print is referred to as a giclée, although this French term (meaning ‘to spray’) is outdated and often misused. No finer print exists today in terms of color gamut, overall dynamic range (contrast), Dmax (richness of blacks), longevity, light fastness, and a 3-D look and feel.

My images can also be purchased as ready-to-hang canvas gallery wraps or metal prints (photographs imaged into industrial grade aluminum sheets). These canvas and metal prints are not only artistically stunning and up close and personal, they are a very cost effective alternative to standard matted and framed prints behind glass. If you don’t want to bother with the cost and hassle of having a print custom matted and framed, then canvas wraps and aluminum metal prints are the answer!

As an authorized and verified merchant, I accept PayPal for payment and have successfully shipped artwork throughout the United States. If you are interested in purchasing an image, please contact me via the Contact page above for a quote and further details. Print choices (image substrates) are listed below:

Pigment Prints Individually Printed, Signed and Made by Me: Prices start at $150 for a 10×15 (or 15×10) personally signed and printed pigment print on fine art paper (loose not matted). Mounted and matted pigment prints, ready to drop in a frame, start at $225 for a 10×15 (or 15×10) image mounted in a 16×20 cotton mat, then increase in price depending on the size. All matted prints include the top window mat and backing board hinged together with archival linen tape. The mats are 100% cotton, museum grade conservation board of the utmost quality. Please note that size limitations apply to mounted/matted prints due to available packaging materials and shipping costs. Shipping and tax to California residents are extra.

Canvas Gallery Wraps: These ready-to-hang canvas wraps are produced for me by a professional photo lab specializing only in canvas prints, still hand made by artisans. This lab uses only certified archival canvas, pigment inks and varnishes. The canvas is the world’s highest quality, ultra-thick, museum grade, brilliant white, poly/cotton canvas. These gallery wraps come with a glossy archival UV coating to shield the canvas and a pre-installed wire hanger so the artwork is ready to hang right out of the box. Rear dust covers are optional. Simply the greatest canvas color gamut available on the market today. Your choice of thin (0.75 inch) or thick (1.5 inch) solid wood stretcher bars. Each of the four edges of the image will be reflected (mirrored) onto the sides of the canvas, thus the term gallery wrap. Shipping and tax to California residents are extra.

Aluminum Metal Prints: For the ultimate art experience. These ready-to-hang metal prints are produced for me by a specialty lab. Each photo is carefully imaged into a specially coated piece of industrial grade aluminum with a scratch resistant, white, ultra-high gloss coating. The color inks are directly infused into the coating through heat and pressure (dye sublimation process), resulting in an amazingly clear and detailed, three-dimensional luminous look with an almost back-lit appearance. The presentation is simply unequaled with any other photographic process. These durable yet lightweight, bold pieces are stunning and need no framing as they are ready to hang. Includes a float mount on the back of the metal print with laser cut holes, ready for hanging. Shipping and tax to California residents are extra.

Note to California residents: Sales tax in the amount of 7.75% must be charged to all orders shipping within California. I have a tax reseller’s permit from the California State Board of Equalization and am required by law to collect and pay sales tax. No exceptions.
